How to add text to a picture in word?

Demand scenario

After inserting a picture in Word, I want to add some instructions such as text notes to the picture, so as to enrich the content of the picture and convey more additional information about the picture to the readers of the document, which is convenient for readers to understand.

solution

Suppose you want to add text notes to your notebook as shown below: Work Notes.

0 1

Click the Insert menu in the menu bar, the shape in the Illustration tab, and the shape of the text box (or vertical text box as needed).

02

Place a text box in the target location, and enter the required text comments in the text box.

As shown in the figure below:

Place a text box in the notebook location and enter: work notes.

You can modify the font, size, color and other settings of the text in the text box on the Font tab under the Start menu.

03

Select the text box with the mouse, and a menu will be displayed in the menu bar: shape format.

In the Shape Format menu–Shape Style tab, you can change the text box to be transparent and not filled with outlines.

(1) Select No Fill in the Shape Fill drop-down option to set the text box as a transparent background.

(2) Select "No Outline" from the "Shape Outline" drop-down option to remove the external outline display of the text box.

The effects of the modified settings are as follows:

Similarly, if necessary, you can add some shapes such as rectangle, rounded rectangle and ellipse to select the target position box, add arrows, change the outline to "no padding", and set the outline color and thickness of the outline and arrow to make the picture indication information more prominent.

Tips

When a text box or other shape has been set, if you want to add another shape of the same type, you don't need to insert the menu to operate. You can quickly and easily add a copy exactly the same as the shape in the following ways:

Hold down the Ctrl key at the same time, select the shape with the left mouse button and drag it to any desired location, that is, a copy of the shape will be added to the target location, and then you only need to modify the text in the text box!

Of course, it can be achieved by using the traditional copy-and-paste method, but the operation will be relatively complicated.
