Teacher's day introduction
Teachers' Day was established to affirm teachers' contribution to education. In the modern history of China, many days are Teachers' Day.
It was not until 1985, when the ninth meeting of the 6th the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) passed the State Council's proposal on the establishment of Teachers' Day, that 1985 September 10 was really determined as the first teachers' day in China.
