Wislawa Szymborska, 1923-2012
p>Born in 1923 in Bunin, a small town in Poland. She is good at describing serious topics and daily things in a humorous and poetic tone, and answers life with poetry. He is the most popular poet in Poland and is recognized as one of the most charming poets of the contemporary era. He enjoys the reputation of "Mozart in poetry".
She won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1996 and was the third female poet to win the prize in literary history.
One night in February 2012, Szymborska passed away peacefully in his residence. At her funeral, people from all over Poland came to pay their final farewell to the poet.
Chen Li
Famous Taiwanese poet and translator. He has written more than 20 collections of poems, essays, and music reviews. He has won many awards including the Times Literary Award, the United Daily News Literary Award, the Liang Shiqiu Literary Award for Translation, and the Golden Tripod Award.
Zhang Fenling
Graduated from the English Department of Taiwan Normal University. He is the author of a collection of commentaries "Revelation of Modern Poetry" and has co-translated more than ten books with Chen Li. He has won the Liang Shiqiu Literary Award for Translation many times.
