Three songs. The most famous one is from Wang Mian of the Yuan Dynasty.
Mo Mei (Wang Mian of the Yuan Dynasty)
The tree at the head of the pond where I wash inkstones has flowers blooming with faint ink marks.
Don’t let others praise the color,
leave only the fresh air to fill the universe
Mo Mei (Zhang Zhen of the Song Dynasty)
The valley beside the mountain Shuibian Village,
The flowers were sparse and the soul of the visitor was cut off.
I still hate the meaningless east wind,
It even blows mist and rain into the dusk.
Mo Mei (Ju Jian, Song Dynasty)
Don’t hate the waste of painters,
There is no need to seek differences, only similarities.
The jade face is not as beautiful as the jackdaw,
so I entrust the jade dust to the Han Palace.
