Sang Zhe Ying Xie Chun She San refers to the ancient Spring Society Festival. This is a poem by Wang Jia, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. The last line is "Every family supports people until they return drunk." Because after the ancient Sheri festival, the meat and other sacrifices were distributed to everyone, so the men often got drunk.
The origin of Sheri Festival
Sheri Festival, also known as Land Festival, is an ancient traditional Chinese festival. Sheri is divided into spring society and autumn society. In ancient times, the social festival dates were determined based on the Ganzhi calendar. Later, due to changes in the calendar, the lunar calendar was used to determine the festival dates.
The Chunshe Festival is calculated on the fifth Wu day after the beginning of spring, which is usually around the second day of the second month of the lunar calendar. The Qiushe Festival is calculated on the fifth Wu day after the Liqiu Festival, which is about the eighth month of the lunar calendar when Xingu debuts. In ancient times, the land god and the place where he worshiped the land god were called "Sheri Festival". According to our country's folk customs, every sowing or harvest season, farmers would set up a community to worship the land god and pray for or reward the land god.
