Du fu: quatrains in Tang dynasty
"Two orioles sing green willows, egrets sky-high." Outside my window is the snowy Western Hills. My door often says "goodbye" to ships sailing eastward.
The meaning of this poem is: the sun shines on mountains and rivers in spring, and the spring breeze blows, bringing the fragrance of flowers and plants. Swallows hold soft soil (ready to nest), and Yuanyang perches on the beach to enjoy the warm sunshine. "Beautiful sunset glow", "sunset glow", spring sunshine.
After winter in the northern hemisphere, the days are getting longer and longer, and the sunshine time in spring is much longer than that in winter, so the late day represents spring. "Li" is magnificent and beautiful. The spring sunshine will shine brilliantly on the mountains and rivers. In this sentence, the verb "blow, brush" is omitted.
Spring breeze brings the fragrance of flowers and plants. "Mud turns into a swallow", "melt" and be soft. Swallows have soft soil in their mouths. Swallows nest in spring,
So they fly around with dirt and branches in their hands. Sleeping Yuanyang on the Beach The beach is warm and Yuanyang sleeps on it.
This poem was written by Du Fu when he resumed his official position. The good news made him very happy, so his poems were full of joy. My eyes are full of beautiful scenery, fragrant flowers, swallows and mandarin ducks. Because his friend Yanwu reported to the emperor that Du Fu was very talented, he was very worried when he saw the sufferings of the imperial court. The emperor thought that Du Fu should be reused, so he named Du Fu "jiao Yuan Wailang".
The Ministry of Industry was the department in charge of construction in ancient times, and Yuan Wailang was an official position. The representative of the school inspection can enjoy all the benefits of this official position without field work. It is equivalent to the emperor making Du Fu a relaxed and prestigious post.
Later, people called Du Fu "Du Gongbu", which is the origin of Du Fu.
Of course, Du Fu is so talented, capable and talented that he won't just give it to a proofreader. The emperor also arranged for Du Fu to be a friend of Yanwu's staff, and named him "the steward". Yanwu was appointed by the emperor as our ambassador, equivalent to the current commander of the military region. The staff officer in our department is the person who helps us to be a staff officer, make suggestions and talk about ideas.
Du Fu must be very happy to be with his good friends and have the opportunity to develop his abilities. So he has reason to be very happy.
The antithesis of this poem is very neat. The first two sentences are "sunset" to "spring breeze", "mountains" to "flowers" and "beauty" to "fragrance". The last two sentences are "melting mud" to "warming sand", "flying" to "sleeping" and "swallowing" to "Yuanyang". The whole poem is a very beautiful poem, coherent and delicate in content. This poem also fully embodies Du Fu's ability to grasp words as a poet and saint.
